Shailene Woodley + Aaron Rodgers (Again)
Looks like the on-again-off-again romance between actor Shailene Woodley, 30, and NFLer Aaron Rodgers, 38, is officially on the outs again. Despite being seen together recently, the pair has apparently called it quits — possibly for good this time. The Big Little Lies star reportedly tried to give the relationship another shot according to E! News, “But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change. There was no reason to continue and she’s done with it again.” The pair was engaged, but had split back in February. At the time of that split, the pair were on good terms and continued being spotted together.
Ashley Darby + Michael Darby
In the end, love did not conquer all with the Darbys. The Real Housewives of Potomac star spoke to Bravo, confirming the breakup of their eight-year marriage. “Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward,” she said to The Daily Dish. “Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to separate.” She also shared that the two were in “very different stages” of their lives and had “very different goals.” The Darbys were married May 2014 and share two sons — Dean, 2, and Dylan, 1.
Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen
Russian Doll star Natasha Lyonne revealed that she split from Fred Armisen after eight years together. Sadly, they ended their relationship over a swimming pool. “I honestly think we broke up because I wanted a swimming pool,” Lyonne told The Hollywood Reporter. “We love each other just about as much as two people can love each other and we’re still talking all the time, but Freddy doesn’t like a swimming pool. It might seem like a mundane reason for a breakup, but during that pandemic, you’ve got to get your laps — I’m like Burt Lancaster in ‘The Swimmer.’ So, I got myself a house with a pool out in Los Angeles. ”
Ali Wong and Justin Hakuta
The actor, 39, and husband Justin Hakuta, 39, are calling it quits after eight years of marriage. The split is amicable and both parents will continue to co-parent amicably, a source told People. The pair share two daughters, 6-year-old Mari and 5-year-old Nikki. The pair met in 2010 at a friend’s wedding reception and tied the knot in 2014 at a ceremony in San Francisco. Wong shared in her memoir that the pair signed a prenup ahead of the wedding, and that this was the best move for her career because it pushed her to grow her own source of income (Wong had also previously joked how she “trapped” Harvard Business School-educated Hakuta).

Tish + Billy Ray Cyrus
It’s the end of an era. After 29 years of marriage, Miley Cyrus’s parents are filing for divorce. The country music legend and wife, actor and producer Tish have walked this road before. The pair previously also filed for divorce in 2010 and 2013 before ultimately reconciling. Tish filed the paperwork in Williamson County, Tenn. citing irreconcilable differences, and noting that the pair had already been estranged for the past two years, living separately. The couple married in 1993, and share five children together.

Katie Maloney + Tom Schwartz
Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are couple no more! After nearly 12 years together, Schwartz, 39, and Maloney, 35, posted news of their breakup on their separate Instagram accounts. Schwartz began his significantly longer post with, “Well this sucks. How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–kin canned Instagram caption. What picture am I supposed to use? Is there a go-to break up font?” He continued, “Katie & I are separating. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word bc it’s too painful. Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song.” Schwartz shared that Maloney has decided to leave him despite “healthy” and “productive” conversations. “She taught me so much about love & being a better partner,” he added, “I don’t think we were ever a model couple. Maybe we are model divorcées. A dubious title I suppose,” ending with, “So I’ll shut up now and say it one last time, love you Bub. Always & forever you’ll be in my heart. On my ass? Maybe not so much.” The rumours of the couple’s split first started circling when Maloney was spotted on a girls’ night out with former co-star Stassi Schroeder not wearing her wedding band. Just one month prior the couple seemed happy, with Schwartz posting a sweet Valentine’s Day post. During the filming of the past nine seasons of Vanderpump Rules, the show documented the cast couples many ups and downs; from cheating, explosive arguments and more, but Maloney and Schwartz always seemed solid – especially in the most recent season.
Chris Pine + Annabelle Wallis
The notoriously private couple has reportedly split up after nearly four years of dating, according to multiple outlets. While the former couple hasn’t shared the reason, they were first spotted together at London’s Heathrow Airport in March 2018. That July the pair were then seen sporting matching tan outfits and holding hands in the streets of London. The pair never made it Instagram official, and Wallis has spoken about why she keeps her relationship private. Following from her split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the British actor told the Sydney Morning Herald, “It’s just that when you have people in your life that you care about, you get very protective of them, and it’s not about you any more, it’s about other people, and the ones you love are the ones you protect like a lioness.”

Cheryl Burke + Matthew Lawrence
Dancing With The Stars alum Cheryl Burke, 37, is splitting from husband and Boy Meets World actor Matthew Lawrence, 42. Burke shared the news on her Instagram saying the pair are divorcing. “I know I have always said that I’m an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I’ve realized there isn’t really an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending.” She added, “I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words & support you’ve given me – love you all.” The pair met in 2006 where Lawrence’s older brother Joey (of Blossom fame) was competing on the ABC dance competition series. They dated for a year before going their separate ways, and before ultimately reconnecting in 2017. The two got engaged in 2018, after a year of dating. According to People, Burke filed for divorce in January, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason, while the papers also revealed that the pair have a prenuptial agreement in place.

Shailene Woodley + Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Roders and Shailene Woodley are no longer engaged. Well this may come as no surprise to some, but it seems that “agreeing to disagree” has its limits. While the couple reportedly opted not to debate issues they don’t see eye to eye on (politics, for example), in the end, their differences simply became insurmountable, a source close to Rodgers shared with People. The pair’s split is amicable, but we can’t help but wonder if the split is the result of diverging core values on big issues; the NFL player caught media flack back in November for not being vaccinated and catching Covid, despite previous claims that he was “immunized.” The Big Little Lies star and Green Bay quarterback first publicly shared news of their engagement a little over a year ago, following a whirl-wind romance; the engagement came just a few short months after Rodger’s split from NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, who he dated for two years. Prior to that, he’s been linked to actor Olivia Munn.

Dawson, 42, began seeing the politician after the two met at a political fundraiser in December 2018. At one point in 2019, Brooker even teased the idea that he may propose to The Mandalorian star, and in 2021, Dawson sold her West Coast mansion to be closer to the senator in Newark. At that time, the two hadn’t seen each other in months following the start of the pandemic.
Emma Roberts + Garrett Hedlund
Actress Emma Roberts, 30, and actor Garrett Hedlund, 37, have ended their relationship after almost three years together. The couple are parents to one-year-old baby Rhodes, who Roberts gave birth to during the pandemic. Last month, they celebrated Rhodes’ first birthday together with a rodeo-themed party. Following their split, Hedlund was arrested for public intoxication in Franklin County, Tennessee on Jan. 23. Currently, he is out on a $2,100 bond and is scheduled to reappear back in court in March.
Pamela Anderson + Dan Hayurst
After only a year of marriage, Pamela Anderson is splitting from her husband Dan Hayurst. The two secretly got married on Christmas Eve in 2020. A source told US Weekly that Anderson rushed into the marriage and was now “having regrets” about the fast-tracked relationship. “She saw the marriage as a fresh start, but the spark has faded,” they said. Hayurst was Anderson’s fourth husband, and he was her bodyguard.

Jason Momoa + Lisa Bonet
After 16 years together, and four years of marriage, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are separating. The split took the world by surprise when Momoa revealed the news via Instagram on Jan. 12. “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” he wrote in a statement signed by both himself and Bonet. “And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.” They also wrote that they still had love for each other, and would remain devoted to their children. The couple share two kids.
The duo first started dating back in 2005, and welcomed their first child two years later in 2007. They tied the knot in 2017. Momoa has admitted in interviews that he had a crush on Bonet since he was young. “Ever since I was like, eight years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one,'” he told James Corden on The Late Late Show in 2017.
