Leave it to Lizzo to bring the drama on the black carpet. The Grammy-winner shut things down in this gorgeous, layered gown from Jean Paul Gaultier Couture. We love her dark, vampire-inspired lipstick that really amps up her whole gothic look.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the VMAs — where she took home a trophy for Video of the Year, and also announced her new album Midnights, which drops in October. We love this layered silver dress that looks like it was made just for her, and her matching strappy heels.

The trend of silver and sparkles continued at the VMAs with “Treat Me” singer Chloe Bailey stepping out in this show-stopping silver gown with a daring slit and waist-snatching corset. We love all the stunning details and how it fits her perfectly.

Blackpink
Ahead of their energetic performance, the women of Blackpink stepped out in chic black outfits. The gothic, vampy look has us adding all things black to our fall wardrobes. Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo all stunned, proving that black is always an elegant idea.

Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X made our jaws drop in this beautiful feathered ensemble that made him look radiant. The bold outfit was made out of “upcycled materials and 100-year-old upholstery fabric” from an Italian villa, according to designer Harris Reed. He revealed on Instagram that each of the feathers was hand-painted.
