Jodie Sweetin + Mescal Wasilewski
The Fuller House star shared the happy news on her Instagram two days ahead of her 40th birthday. Sweetin accompanied the pic with a quote from poet and author Maya Angelou before adding, “I love you Mescal, for always. You’re my person. I can’t wait to see the life that lies ahead for us.” The star also shared the marquis-style engagement ring and capped the post with “Here’s to us, @ghostfacelito and our life of adventures. Together, I think I’m really gonna like turning 40.” Sweetin has been married three times before, and shares two daughters with exes Cody Herpin and Morty Coyle. This is Sweetin’s fifth engagement. The couple have been dating for four years. The engagement comes just over a week after the unexpected death of former costar and comedian Bob Saget.
The Fuller House cast released a joint statement saying they are grieving as a family. “Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we grieve as a family. Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.”

Megan Fox + Machine Gun Kelly
After more than a year of dating, actress Megan Fox, 35, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly, 31, are taking their gothic, whirlwind romance to the next level with an engagement. Kelly popped the question with a custom emerald and diamond ring (emerald is Fox’s birthstone and diamond is his) and wrote on Instagram that the gems act as “two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
Fox shared a video of the proposal on her own Instagram account, writing, “and just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.” She also added that the two drank each other’s blood to seal the deal, and we’re not sure if she’s joking or not; however, we wouldn’t be surprised if they actually did.
The two self-described twin-flames met while filming the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020, and began dating shortly after. The two have come a long way since Kelly’s teenage years when he had a poster of Fox in his bedroom. Fox was previously married to Beverly Hills 90210 alum Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three sons, while Kelly has a daughter, Casie, with ex Emma Cannon.
Simon Cowell + Lauren Silverman
Simon Cowell, 62, finally popped the question to socialite Lauren Silverman, 44, after 13 years together, according to Page Six. During a family vacation in Barbados, Cowell reportedly asked Silverman to marry him. The X Factor judge allegedly got down on one knee in front of the couple’s seven-year-old son and Silverman’s son from a previous marriage.
Cowell has publicly admitted to having an affair with Silverman years ago when she was still married to her then-husband, Andrew Silverman. Their divorce was finalized in 2013. Cowell was previously engaged to makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy from 2010 to 2011.
