Move Over Pixie Cuts: The Mixie Haircut is the Coolest Cut for 2022

If 2021 was the year of the wolf cut, then it looks like 2022 is shaping up to be the year of the mixie. One of the rising hair trends for 2022, this new cut is a mix between a mullet haircut and a pixie, and it’s perfect for anyone looking to make a big chop and switch up their hair for spring.

According to Glamour UK, to pull off this cut you’ll need to ask your hairdresser for “short, dainty crops in the front with a little extra length at the back.” The end result should be face-framing like a pixie, but with some choppy, longer pieces on your neck to give it that mullet feel.
