Weddings, second weddings, break-ups and make-ups… the Survers of Vanderpump Rules have been quite in their feelings over their relationships lately, and we’re totally here for it. As the eighth season comes to a close, here’s where we see some of these flagship couples going in the very near future.

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix
If love means never having to say you’re sorry then Tom and Ariana are in it for the long haul; after all if we’ve learned anything this season it’s that Tom is terrible at apologies. Still, even though he felt the wrath of Stassi and Jax this year, Ariana had his back the whole time. And when she opened up about her depression? Her boo was there for her too. Who cares if these guys don’t ever want to walk down the aisle—they’re definitely in it for the long haul.

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney
On the surface Tom and Katie seem pretty solid, but there are definite cracks in that foundation. Not only did the couple have to re-do their wedding after Tom lost the paperwork the first time around, but who can forget that epic prank wars night when Tom went off on Katie for being unattractive? Sure they’ve made up since, but Tom has a history of being mean to his bride when he overindulges. For now we’re saying these guys will last, but only if that dark side doesn’t come around again anytime soon.

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor
There’s no one who gets as up in his own feelings as Jax, but there’s also no one who can ground him better than his lobster, Brittany. So even though Jax lied about his strip club behaviour during his bachelor party, it’s safe to say these newlyweds are still living in their marital bliss. They overcame a lot to walk down that aisle together and were on the same page pretty much all season long, so this is definitely a couple that we feel safe investing in for the immediate future.

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd
Lisa’s affections towards her husband were (slightly) put to the test with the arrival of one Brett Caprioni this year. The flirtation between Surver/personal trainer and restaurant owner was never scandalous, but Lisa openly crushed on Brett to the cameras and he fully admitted he has a thing for Lisa too. But in the end nothing ever happened between them, and Ken chose to shrug it all off with a few resigned looks. If that doesn’t prove he and Lisa are as solid as ever than we don’t know what does.

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark
Remember when Stassi was constantly freaking out over… well, everything? Beau has proved over and over again that he is her person because he calms her down and knows how to handle her when she starts in on something. And for her part Stassi seems to be a lot more grounded when she’s with her man. This season we finally got to see him pop the question (in a graveyard of all places), and we have no doubt they’re going to eat mac and cheese together all the way to that alter.

James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss
Should Raquel still be dating James? Well that’s debatable after the way he has repeatedly treated her. Still, as soon as the new Surver put her foot down and told James that he couldn’t treat her like that anymore he agreed to get help with his drinking, which was a huge step. (Even Raquel-hater Lala was impressed.) James has a long road ahead of him, but Raquel has proved that so long as he’s trying to get better she’ll be there for him. We aren’t holding our breath, but we are kind of hoping for the best after all they’ve gone through.

Brett Caprioni and Dayna Kathan
Dayna had quite the busy first season on the show, what with her continual beef with Scheana, trying to make a boyfriend out of bad boy Max, and then through her unexpected romance with Brett. While some raised eyebrows over how “thirsty” Dayna may have seemed (hi there Charli), she did seem to really jive with Brett. We don’t think those two are long-term goals by any means (Brett still seems pretty attached to the dream that is Lisa Vanderpump after all), but it’s sure been fun following their flirtation.

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett
It took three years of convincing, but Lala finally got Randall to make his Vanderpump Rules debut this season, and we all saw a new side of their relationship as a result. Randall obviously gets along well with Lala’s friends (why else would Jax ask him to be a last-minute groomsman?) and the two can be totally goofy around each other. Now the pair seem stronger than ever despite some of the online haters, and even though their April 18 wedding had to be postponed because of coronavirus, these two will certainly walk down the aisle sooner rather than later. Lala is too headstrong not to let that happen.

Kristen Doute and Brian Carter
If you were a little sick of hearing about Kristen and Carter this season we can’t say we’d blame you. Those two seriously needed to either cut it off altogether or else reconcile because being friends with benefits or whatever it was clearly just wasn’t work out for them. Thankfully, it looks like Kristen finally came to her senses because she parted with Carter once and for all last January; these days she’s self-isolating with a new beau, house-flipper Alex Menache.

The Witches of WeHo
It seems like we should all enjoy the vino while it lasts, because one relationship that definitely still seems to be on the rocks is the one between Kristen, Stassi and Katie. This season Kristen wasn’t just on a break from her besties, who were frustrated at her status (non-status?) with Carter—they cut her out completely. As in, Kristen wasn’t invited to that epic wine night, Katie’s Las Vegas wedding, or even Stassi’s engagement party. It’s a sad fall for the former sisters, and unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they’ll ever get back to the friendship they once had. At least Kristen still has Scheana and Brittany? Small victories y’all.
