Below Deck goes down under in the latest installment of the series. Sailing through the Whitsunday Islands and famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia, Below Deck Down Under takes us to yet another side of the world. The show will navigate the explosive relationships among the crew as a rotating set of guests demand the best of the best.
This season, the M/Y Thalassa will be commanded by captain Jason Chambers with help from fan-favourite, chief stew Aesha Scott. They’re joined by newcomers chef Ryan McKeown, bosun Jamie Sayed, stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek, as well as deckhands Culver Bradbury, Brittini Burton and Ben Crawley. They’ll work under captain Chambers’ hands-on approach as he does whatever it takes to make sure the guests have a memorable experience aboard the Australian mega-yacht.
Though everything will start off easy, the crew will run into a slew of problems when the chef falls out of step with the chief stew. The deck team team will also grapple with the bosun’s firm management style and come to heads with a free-spirited team member who doesn’t like rules. In the interior, chief stew Aesha will quickly learn that her team might not gravitate towards the ‘friends-first’ work mentality. The Aussie waters may be different, but we’ll still get to enjoy the same crazy shenanigans from the crew as they indulge in the nightlife, blow off steam and engage in some surprising hookups.
