We’re only a few weeks away from the arrival of summer and, as the weather finally starts to warm up (goodbye seasonal depression), that can only mean one thing: it’s time to break out our spring wardrobes.

Denim-on-denim, AKA the Canadian tuxedo, is a spring classic, with silhouettes that made appearances on runways during Paris and New York spring/summer 2023 fashion weeks. Your denim staples don’t necessarily have to be the same colour: a darker pant and a lighter shirt or denim jacket works well, too.

Maxi skirts are a closet staple

Gracing the runways of Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera and Peter Do, long maxi skirts are the flattering and versatile staple for this season.
