The Explosive ‘RHONJ’ Season 13 Trailer Boasts Screaming Matches and Family Feuds

3:31

The explosive new trailer for The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is here, and Teresa Giudice and Melissa and Joe Gorga’s family feud lies at the centre of it all.

Giudice and Gorga return alongside Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin. Jackie Goldschneider will appear this season, but this time as a friend of the cast alongside new friend of the Housewives, Jennifer Fessler. The cast will be rounded out by two new housewives: the “very Jerseylicious” Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, who Josephs dubs a “glamorous Tim Burton character.”

Soundtracked to a haunting cover of Olivia Newton-John’s “Magic,” the trailer opens with Giudice donning plenty of hairspray as she gets ready for her wedding day (she recently got married to Luis “Louie” Ruelas), before she says, “Family is everything.” This is a particularly pivotal moment in the preview, as Melissa and Joe famously skipped out on Teresa’s wedding, and it looks like viewers will get to see the fallout of that this season.

Cut one minute in, and Giudice is calling Melissa “disgusting” at a glamorous 1920s-themed party, as a livid Joe gets held back by a friend. The end of the trailer, however, shows the ultimate downfall of Teresa, Melissa and Joe’s relationship, as – after a whole slew of fights and screaming matches – Teresa says, “She’s always wanted to keep my brother and I apart. She got her wish.”

At one point, Louie even threatens to punch Joe in the face and Jennifer Aydin claims that Melissa was spotted making out with another man, so it looks like a big chunk of the drama in season 13 will revolve around the infamous Giudice-Gorga family feud.

In fact, the whole reason the Gorgas skipped Giudice’s wedding is reportedly because of an argument that occurred during filming of season 13. Sources told PEOPLE that the wedding snub was a response to false rumours about Joe and Melissa’s marriage.

“Teresa betrayed them in a way that’s unforgivable,” a source said. “They’re not going to celebrate Teresa’s new marriage when all she does is try to tear apart theirs.”

While it looks like we’re in for a pretty heavy season, the trailer also teases fun-loving moments filled with roller skating and plenty of drinks – plus, Frank Catania even dresses up as a scantily clad Easter Bunny.

But, on the other side of things we hear that, “Jennifer Aydin’s on a downward spiral. She’s got to deal with her marriage.” Meanwhile, Dolores Catania finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, as she gets caught between her ex-husband Catania and her new boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell.

“After a tumultuous year that tested loyalties and reignited feuds, the ladies of the Garden State are learning that when it comes to planting seeds, you reap what you sow,” Bravo teases of RHONJ season 13. “Marriage, friendships and families have been pushed to the limit, but will 2022 be the year to finally repair what’s been broken? These relationships will need more than just magic to survive, but one thing is for certain: The ladies of New Jersey will let nothing stand in their way.”

Tune in to the supersized premiere of RHONJ on February 7 at 9EP on Slice, the Global TV app or STACKTV with Amazon Prime Video Channels, fuboTV, Rogers Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream.
