We Tried on Some Knix Products and Here's How it Felt When We Wore Them

While most of us have ditched work attire for loungewear during the pandemic, there’s one thing that remains consistent — undergarments. Let’s be honest, you may have even ditched the bra — only grabbing one before you hit up a Zoom video call (we’ve all been there). Knix is a Canadian innerwear brand who started off with underwear and expanded into wireless bras, sports bras, loungewear and more. They’ve even produced a period proof underwear.

We got a chance to try some of these products to see if they’re as comfortable and leak-proof as they say.

Tracey’s relationship with sports bras is no longer ‘It’s Complicated’

"Sports bras and I have a love/hate relationship. I hate how tight and constricted they are, but I love how athletic they make me look in a pair of high-waisted tights. When I first got this bra, I was worried the size would be all wrong (after all, I've never been able to get the size of a sports bra just right). It was snug at first, but according to the Knix website, that's perfectly normal. The bra eventually relaxed into my shape until the point where I didn't even realize I was wearing it anymore. The front zip detail is super cute, but it also makes the bra way easier to put on that trying to squeeze my shoulders into it the over-the-head way. Dragana isn’t masking her feelings about this Knix product

"While Knix isn’t known for face wear necessarily, with it being the pandemic they’ve put out a face mask. It's not a surgical mask or an N95 (masks that offer higher degrees of protection), but it does serve as an added barrier covering the nose and mouth. I've personally worn this mask when outside taking my dog to the dog park or going for a walk. Lydia is locked, loaded and ready to tackle her workout

"If you’ve ever put on two sports bras just to ensure that there’s not so much bouncing action during a workout, you’ll love the Knix Catalyst Front Zip Sports Bra. On my first wear, it felt tight and I worried I got the wrong size, but give it some time and a few washes to adjust to your shape. The bra can be put on two ways — through the back clasp or front zip — and feels super secure during even my jumpiest workouts. Huge bonus: it’s snug without creating any back rolls (my fellow plus size femmes know what I’m talking about!) and comes in an inclusive range of sizes.

I also tried the FreshFix Air™ Face Mask and it has skyrocketed to the top of my collection. The mask is comfortable and flattering and I find myself reaching for it on those occasions when I want to look good, like my Friday night trip to the grocery store. It keeps my face warm in the chilly weather, but is still breathable if you’re using it while exercising. I also love that it’s waterproof and dries really quickly after washing as well. Chloe is going with the flow with her period underwear

"Who knew high-waisted Knix leakproof period panties would become a monthly staple? Having endometriosis means two things: severe lady pains and so much bleeding. The super absorbent period panties are comfortable, sustainable and prevent my bloody, shedding uterine lining from staining my light sheets (who doesn’t like to feel like they’re sleeping on a cloud?) Madison is getting the support she needs to do her workouts
