The ‘RHOSLC’ Season 3 Trailer Promises Black Eyes and More Jen Shah Drama

3:04

“Retaliation is a bitch,” Lisa Barlow declares atop ominous music in the brand new trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Well, RHOSLC fans, it looks like we’ve got another juicy season in store. Fresh on the heels of Jen Shah pleading guilty in her federal fraud case, a new trailer for the highly anticipated third season is here.

How will Jen Shah’s guilty plea play out on season 3?

Last time we caught up with the RHOSLC cast, Shah was in the hot seat after she was accused of running a telemarketing fraud scheme. After months of refuting the claims, the reality star reversed her earlier plea and changed it to guilty. Cut to the new trailer – which features some footage that pre-dates the plea change – and we catch Shah proclaiming, “I am innocent!”

It looks like Shah’s legal troubles continue on this season, but this time she’s taking her name out of the equation and dropping the blame on her well-known former assistant, Stuart Smith.

“I got played by Stuart Smith,” Shah says in the trailer. “I would not be in this thing at all if it wasn’t for Stuart.”

As the season progresses, it looks like fans will get some behind-the-scenes footage of Shah’s guilty plea, and clips of how that plays out amongst the rest of the RHOSLC cast.

Who gave Heather Gay a black eye?

Amidst the chaos, the RHOSLC ladies get to take a break from that chilly Utah weather, where it looks like Shah isn’t the only one who gets caught up in some shady behaviour. During the trip, cast member Heather Gay reveals a jarring, extremely swollen black eye.

“Heather, you look like somebody clocked you,” fan-favourite Lisa Barlow exclaims, to which Heather responds, “Well, maybe somebody did.”

Who are the new RHOSLC cast members?

The cast has had to shift since last season, especially since Mary Cosby quit the show after a rough second season full of accusations that her church was “like a cult” and Jennie Nguyen was fired after her controversial Facebook posts condemning Black Lives Matter resurfaced. Shah, Gay and Barlow are joined by returning housewives Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose alongside newcomers and “friends of” Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Katsanevas and Angie Harrington.

What are Meredith Marks’ allegations about Lisa Barlow and Vida Tequila?

After a big fallout between Lisa and Meredith last season (cut to Lisa’s hot mic at the end of season 2), it looks like the drama is set to boil over into season 3, as Meredith unleashes some shocking allegations about Lisa and her tequila company.

“I heard that she was doing favours to help get places to pick up Vida Tequila,” Meredith tells Whitney in the clip.

Later on in the supertease, Whitney shares the rumours with the rest of the RHOSLC cast. Lisa immediately claps back, yelling, “Are you crazy?!”

What was Whitney Rose’s “very abusive situation?”

Whitney has some allegations of her own, as she shares some stories of her childhood trauma.

“You know how I always tell you that I don’t remember details of my childhood,” she says to her husband through teary eyes before telling the housewives, “I was in a very abusive situation.”

From twerking to fights at the dinner table, it looks like we’re in for a perfectly chaotic season.
