Nearly a year after it’s launch in 2022, Hailey Bieber’s skincare line, Rhode, is officially crossing borders into Canada. That’s right: Canucks can finally get their hands on the same products that give the supermodel her trademark glow.

In recent months, the model and influencer has really cemented a name for herself as both a go-to trendsetter (hi, glazed-donut nails!) and businesswoman. Now, as a self-proclaimed “skincare product junkie,” it’s no shocker that she eventually took that professional route herself — albeit with a sleek line of only a few simple products. For Bieber, it’s about quality over quantity. Bonus: the line boasts a mid-price range making it more accessible to some of her devout fans.

As she revealed to ELLE Canada in a recent interview, “I’ve always wanted to do something within the world of beauty. But I think, for me, it felt authentic to start with skincare. All of my makeup looks… is very skincare-first focused, because I’m just so hands-on about taking care of my skin. It’s something that I really love and I’m passionate about.”

Hailey Bieber launches her skincare line in Canada

It seems only fitting that the first country to land Bieber’s skincare line (outside the US) would be her hubby’s own homeland. The Biebers visit Canada frequently (Justin hails from Stratford, Ont. and has done collabs with Tim Hortons and his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs), so what’s one more reason to come back and visit more often, right?

“It feels really crazy to finally be launching somewhere else outside of the US,” Bieber tells ELLE Canada. “I think it feels the most right for me to take it to Canada first.”

If nothing else, Bieber’s familiarity with those chilly True North winters no doubt played a part in her decision to launch here. “I hope we can get you guys through those Canadian winters — fingers crossed. It’s gotten me through them,” she jokes to the Toronto Star.

Which Rhode products are available in Canada?

The company offers three main skincare products: a Peptide Lip Treatment, available in various flavours (FYI, this product already has a waitlist); Peptide Glazing Fluid; and Barrier Restore Cream. Prices range from $24 to $44 each (CDN) and are all available at ca.rhodeskin.com.

As she told the Vancouver Sun, “We really don’t ever want to overwhelm the space or ever put out anything that feels not needed or unnecessary. I just don’t want to create excess with the brand. I really want to just take my time to nail down each product.”

Curious about who Bieber works with to ensure she’s putting out a quality product? According to the Vancouver Sun, the star defers to the Skincare Advisory Board, specifically celebrated cosmetic chemist Dr. Ron Robinson and dermatologist Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali.

What’s next for Hailey Bieber’s skincare line?

For the most part, Bieber is keeping her cards close to her chest, but she does drop a small hint.

“Something that has always been on my mind [for the brand] is a natural progression into makeup products,” she tells ELLE Canada. “For me that looks like makeup and skincare fusion, with a skin-first focus.”
