The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is back and juicier than ever. Fresh on the heels of Mary M. Cosby quitting the show after accusations that her church was “like a cult” and Jennie Nguyen getting fired over controversial Facebook posts condemning Black Lives Matter, the cast has seen some pretty big changes headed into season three. In fact, we’ve gotten three new cast members: Angie Katsanevas, Angie Harrington and Danna Bui-Negrete.

From Jen Shah pleading guilty in her federal fraud case to shocking friendship shifts, this season looks like it’s sure to be a roller coaster, and Danna appears to be at the centre of it all. In the trailer for season 3, Danna even admits to knowing someone who used to work for Jen that’s now an informant in her ongoing trial.
So, who exactly is Danna Bui-Negrete, and what can we expect from her on this season of RHOSLC?
Danna Bui-Negrete is a successful entrepreneur and real estate agent
According to Bravo, Danna is an “entrepreneur, real estate agent, wife and mother.” She’s got a pretty high-profile career. In fact, she’s been recognized for her work and has even been named as one of Salt Lake City’s Top 500 Realtors, according to The Sun. She reportedly “often sells homes worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, helping add to her fortune.”
She has a husband and three daughters
Danna is married to a man named Ernesto Negrete, who works as a human resources leader at Sterling ATM, according to Screen Rant. Together, they have three daughters.
She has a history with Heather Gay
Bravo also reveals that “Danna Bui-Negrete goes way back with Heather.” It seems that – after the trailer teased that friends (and cousins) Heather and Whitney would be fighting later on in the season – the Bad Mormon author may have found a new right-hand person in Danna.
Recently, both Whitney and Heather opened up about their fight. In an interview with E! News, Whitney talks about a moment that was teased in the trailer, where everything comes to a head and Heather actually gives the Wild Rose entrepreneur a shove.
“That moment changed everything forever,” Whitney said. “It’s hard. That was a hard rift for me to swallow.”
“I was pretty attached to being ‘Bad Wheather,’ but I’m also attached to being a good friend,” Heather told ET Online, citing the duo’s season 1 nickname. “I know that Whitney was over it, and wanted to stand on her own and have her own identity, and you know, I’m a pleaser. I’m a middle child. Like, I do what I’m told.”
So it looks like, in the midst of the chaotic friendship shifts (cut to Meredith Marks meeting up with Jen Shah in episode one), Heather has found some solace in Danna Bui-Negrete.

Danna knows an informant against Jen Shah
Speaking of Jen Shah, Danna Bui-Negrete first found her way onto fans’ radars after her explosive argument with the controversial housewife was teased in the trailer for RHOSLC season 3. Prior to the fight, Danna tells Whitney Rose that she knows someone who used to work for Jen who is now an informant.
Later in the trailer, Danna ends up getting into a pretty Shah-mazing argument with Jen.
“Don’t get in my motherf*cking face,” Danna yells at the controversial Housewife. “If I were you I’d be a little nicer now, especially if you want some money in your f*cking books.”
She’s already fighting with Jen on Instagram
Jen Shah has even taken to social media to reveal some (heated) thoughts about the RHOSLC newcomer, according to Reality Blurb.
“1. We don’t know her,” Jen wrote. “2. Don’t come for me wearing MacDougala 1983 prom dress… 3. Save your Pennies….you’re the one not getting paid and working for free.”
Danna reportedly retaliated by sharing Jen’s post alongside the caption, “Get your facts straight before you come at me boo boo.”
“B*tch quit worrying about my Macdougala cause where you’re going they don’t make Gucci orange jumpsuits,” Danna added. “I own multiple properties and businesses [and] I don’t steal from the elderly. I also don’t work for free but you wouldn’t know anything about that because you’ve never worked a day in your life.”
So far, it looks like Danna is ready to bring the drama this season and we’re on the edge of our seats waiting to watch how this all plays out.
