Let’s face it: in 2022, there are plenty of good reasons to enjoy being single — but, as we head into cuffing season, it looks like even famously single celebrities are open to looking for love. Case in point? After six years of being single, Drew Barrymore is officially back in the dating game.

On Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Barrymore — who was last linked to ex-husband Will Kopelman, whom she divorced in 2016 — told guest Whoopi Goldberg that she’s dating again.
“The last time you were here, we both were single. You weren’t dating. Are you dating now?,” Barrymore asked Goldberg, according to People, before adding, “I am.”
“Because it had been so many years, I started to get a little worried, like I’m too good at being alone,” Barrymore added.

The return to the dating scene is a somewhat unexpected move for actress and TV host, who has spoken out about how she unsuccessfully dabbled in the Raya dating app and how she can easily abstain from sex for “years.”
While we don’t believe that anyone needs to be in a romantic relationship to be complete, if Drew is looking for love, we hope she finds the healthy, satisfying romantic match that she deserves.
