Lizzo
Always one to bless us with deets, Lizzo once revealed to Busy Phillips on her former talk show that she’s dabbled with dating apps in the past. “I’ve done Raya,” she said, referring to the high-end app that only “famous” or “influencer” type people can join.
“I tried to match with John Mayer—it didn’t work.” The “Truth Hurts” singer then revealed that she finds Raya boring, and that she’s definitely had more fun with some of the “lower-echelon dating apps” in the past.

Laverne Cox
Laverne Cox has recently opened up about finding love during the pandemic with a mystery man. In January she revealed to People that she is taking a new relationship nice and slow, and doing what she can to keep it out of the public eye. And while she hasn’t confirmed how she met her new man, she has been known to check out profiles on dating apps in the past.
“Honestly, I’m a Tinder girl,” she once told People. “When I broke up with my ex, I went back on Tinder, because I feel like if you want to date, you have to be on the apps. You have to be on the apps to be in the game,” she added.

Kiernan Shipka
When you grow up in the spotlight like former Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, and continue a public career playing a notable character like Sabrina on Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, we imagine it’s hard to have regular dating life.
That’s probably why this actor was so fond of dating apps once upon a time. “Raya for life,” she revealed to Stylist in early 2018. “Love it. God bless Raya,” she added. It’s unclear if she met current flame, Christian Coppola, on the high-end app, but if she did we’d say that’s one heck of a success story, wouldn’t you?
