What is the Uber Eats Cravings Report?

It makes sense that Uber Eats would have a pretty good idea of what Canadians like — and don’t like — when it comes to their food delivery. The annual report offers “a snapshot of the most popular, most unique — and in some cases — most unusual delivery requests we received from Canadians over the last year.”

The report provides some insights into the top types of cuisine we’ve been ordering (Japanese food topped the list, followed by Indian, Chinese, pizza and burgers), the cities that tend to order the “healthiest” food (“healthy” is defined as restaurants labelled “healthy” in the app — and Thunder Bay, Montreal and Halifax got top marks there) and other trends — including which cities tip the most.
