Can you believe it’s been eight years since The Real Housewives of Miami aired? The series introduced us to some spicy Real Housewives characters we’ll never forget, so we couldn’t be happier to have them back on our screens for season four. The reboot will bring back some familiar faces and a lot has changed since we’ve seen them last. We take a look at where they were back then, and find out where they are now.

Watch the two-episode season 4 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami December 21 at 9 PM ET and stream your favourite Slice shows on STACKTV through Amazon Prime Channels or the Global TV app.

Ten years ago, Larsa Pippen introduced herself as Scottie Pippen’s glamorous wife whose main job was taking care of the NBA superstar and their four young kids. Back then, we saw Larsa living a very comfortable life, firing her nannies whenever their work wasn’t up to her standards (in season one, she wanted to fire her nanny for not cooking her meals with her preferred ration of rice to water). We can’t help but notice that 2011 Larsa looks quite different from the Larsa we see today.

Larsa Pippen has become somewhat of a socialite since her first appearance on RHOM. She became known for hanging in Kardashian company, though she and the famous family have now publicly severed ties. Her marriage with Scottie Pippen became rocky over the years, with Larsa coming under scrutiny for allegedly cheating on ex-husband Scottie with rapper Future (though the rumour is something she repeatedly denies). She and Scottie have filed for divorce twice, but the most recent filing seems final because she publicly moved on with 24-year-old NBA player Malik Beasley — a relationship that was drama-filled to say the least.

Alexia Echevarria, back then known as the “Cuban Barbie,” was at the heart of Miami’s social scene as executive editor of Venue magazine. She and her husband, Herman, were well-known in the city, often seen schmoozing with celebrities. Her pride and joy were always her two sons, Peter and Frankie, who she considered herself to be more of an older sister to than a mother.

Today, Alexia focuses her time on her beauty bar Alexia & Frankie’s Beauty Bar in Surfside, Miami Beach while basking in newlywed bliss. She split from her ex-husband in 2015, but sadly, he died a year later from a heart attack. She has since moved on with Miami real estate investor and developer Todd Nepola who she began dating in 2017. Though RHOM was put on pause after its third season, Echevarria remained friends with castmates Marysol Patton and Lisa Hochstein.

Miami native Marysol Patton was a public relations powerhouse, running one of the top firms in the city, The Patton Group. In season one, she was enamoured with her much-younger man Philippe Pautesta-Herde, who she married in a quiet ceremony in Aspen. She was also quite close to her eccentric mother, Elsa, who was never afraid to give Marysol her most honest opinions.

It didn’t take long for Patton’s whirlwind marriage to Pautesta-Herde to come to an end. The two divorced in 2012 but she found love again in Steve McNamara, who she recently married in Tulum, Mexico. Fans sent Patton their well wishes when her mother, Elsa, died in 2019, but her memory was honoured at Patton’s wedding which was a tribute to her mother.

We met Lisa Hochstein as the hot wife to the “Boob God” plastic surgeon Lenny Hochstein. She didn’t have a job, instead spending her days lounging by the pool chatting with her housekeeper who was more of a paid companion. In those days, the Hochsteins were struggling to have a baby and had just moved to Miami’s most sought-after zip code on Star Island.

Today, Lisa and her husband finally have their dream family. They welcomed a son and daughter via surrogate and, according to Lisa, their marriage is stronger than ever. The two run their medical spa as co-owners and are heavily involved in charity, something Lisa wished producers had shown more of while she was on earlier seasons of the show.

Adriana de Moura made her entrance on The Real Housewives of Miami by coming in hot. She was the sexy single mom who spent her nights dancing and flirting with cute guys — while her fiancé waited at home. The carefree Brazilian made her mark as an art curator in Miami’s design district, taking pride in having travelled the world and being a polyglot who speaks five languages.

Though Adriana got married to her beau Frederiq Marc in a RHOM episode, she revealed in an Instagram Live in April 2020 that the two are now separated. In the same IG Live, she updated fans on her son who’s now in college. Time flies! Adriana is also still friends with a few RHOM cast members, namely Marysol Patton and Alexia Echevarria who appear with her in season four.
