Pete Davidson is a wearer of many hats. Aside from being a comedian, a Scorpio and the co-owner of a Staten Island ferry, the 28-year-old is known for being beloved by many famous women, from Ariana Grande to his current GF, Kim Kardashian. Now, Davidson has shared a new theory on why so many famous beauties are charmed by him — and we kind of think it adds up.

During a stand-up set at the 9th Annual Patrice O’Neal Comedy Benefit Concert earlier this month, Davidson weighed in on his love life. “There seems to be a curiosity about me is what my friends tell me,” he said. “I was trying to figure out how to explain myself to someone because I was doing an interview.”

According to the SNL jokester, he shares similar qualities with the discount-DVD bin at 7-Eleven, where you might just find a movie like Tropic Thunder. In Davidson’s opinion, the film is a classic that “doesn’t belong in the trash,” just like him. “I’m Tropic Thunder,” he explained. “I’m the diamond in the trash. It’s a steal.”

Pete, if you’re listening, we think you’re definitely a diamond, sans trashcan. Aside from being funny (because let’s be real, most guys aren’t as hilarious as Pete), he’s seemingly pretty down-to-earth and has been very open about his struggles with his physical and mental health.
One of his exes, Kate Beckinsale, basically confirmed that he has a great personality when she liked an Instagram post about him being nice back in November.
