If there’s anyone who won 2021, it’s arguably Pete Davidson. The Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, has been the subject of public fascination this year due to his love life, especially as he’s currently one half of the most unlikely couple in Hollywood as a result of his relationship with Kim Kardashian.
However you may feel about Davidson, though, there’s no denying he’s dated some of the most eligible celebs around, earning a much gossiped-about reputation as some sort of Casanova. Kim Kardashian — October 2021 to present
Davidson and Kim K met when the Skims founder hosted SNL for the first time in October, and it’s safe to say sparks flew between them. The two were spotted together a few times after the episode aired having dinner together, but nothing was confirmed until they stepped out holding hands in November after Davidson celebrated his 28th birthday. Although they appear to be going strong, some fans aren’t convinced the relationship is real just yet.

Phoebe Dynevor — April 2021 to August 2021
Davidson was in a long-distance relationship with the Bridgerton actress for several months in 2021. While the two were first spotted together in March, things weren’t official until April. The comedian would take trips to England to spend time with her, and the two cozied up at Wimbledon together in July, showing some highly-publicized PDA. However, the two fizzled out in August, reportedly due to the distance.

Kaia Gerber — November 2019 to January 2020
Davidson and Kaia Gerber had a quick fling that only lasted a few months. Davidson was 26 at the time, and the model was only 18, which raised some eyebrows. When they split, Davidson opened up about the relationship in an interview, touching on his struggles with addiction: “She’s very young, and I’m f*cking going through a lot and it was before I went to rehab,” he told Charlamagne Tha God. “It’s just like, she should be having fun,” he said. “She shouldn’t have to worry about some dude that just has issues and sh*t. She should be enjoying her work.”

Margaret Qualley — August 2019 to October 2019
Davidson and Maid star Margaret Qualley were first spotted together at the Venice Film Festival in 2019 and, shortly after that, the two were spotted holding hands. In September, Qualley’s mother, Andie MacDowell, told People things were official. “She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much,” she said. “They have a nice relationship.” However only two months later, it was over.

Kate Beckinsale — January 2019 to April 2019
The coupling of Davidson and Kate Beckinsale threw everyone for a loop when they were spotted flirting at a Golden Globes afterparty. The couple packed on the PDA at a hockey game, having a make-out session for the cameras and all the spectators to see. They also smooched at the film premiere of The Dirt.
Their 20-year age gap surprised some people, but Davidson decided to poke fun at it on an episode of SNL: “Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference,” he said, “but it doesn’t really bother us.”
Towards the end of April, the couple called it quits, but the two have since seemingly remained friends — Beckinsale even liked an Instagram post about how Davidson’s nice personality is the reason he’s dated so many A-listers.

Ariana Grande — May 2018 to October 2018
The world was shocked when Davidson and Ariana Grande got engaged after only a few weeks of dating. The two became close after Grande hosted SNL for the first time, and the two fell for each other fast. Grande ended things with Mac Miller, who she was dating at the time, and Pete broke it off with Cazzie David to go official with Grande.
The couple even got matching tattoos, with Pete also inking Grande’s initials and her Dangerous Woman cover art on his body. After the engagement was announced in June 2018, the King of Staten Island star and Grande moved in together. Then, Grande released her album Sweetener in August, which included a track called “pete davidson,” and sent the internet into a tailspin.
Things took a dark turn when Miller, Grande’s ex, passed away from an overdose in September 2018. His death rocked Grande, who later described her grief as “pretty all-consuming.” Grande’s fans realized things were over by October, when they noticed Davidson had covered up the Dangerous Woman tattoo tribute to Grande. In November, Grande released “thank u, next” which namedropped Davidson and her other exes, although she only had kind words to say about him.
Since then, both parties have moved on, and Grande is now married to realtor Dalton Gomez.

Cazzie David — 2016 to 2018
Davidson was in a relationship with Larry David’s daughter, Cazzie, for about two years. He had a few tattoo tributes to her, which he has since covered up. There has been speculation that Davidson cheated on David with Ariana Grande, but nothing has been confirmed. David opened up about their breakup in an essay from her book No One Asked for This, writing that, after the couple went on a break, Davidson dumped her over text before going public with Grande only a few days later.

Carly Aquilino — 2015
The Girl Code alum and fellow comedian was linked to Davidson briefly in 2015. When Grande and Davidson announced their engagement, she was not too happy for the couple, sharing a screenshot of a text she received about the news. “I know I’m the 9 billionth person to text you today about this, but… I can’t,” the message read.
The two might be on better terms these days, however, as they were spotted hanging out backstage at a comedy show in Long Island in 2019.
