In 2011, Robbie was feeling the thrill of being a star-on-the-rise, and her growing confidence reflected in her playful fashion sense. Keeping it simple, while incorporating a bit of fun, the Pan Am star rocked a yellow mini dress and nude heels at the Australians in Film Awards.

It turns out 2013 was the year of Margot. Starring in About Time and, of course, her breakthrough role in The Wolf of Wall Street that year, Robbie's performances earned her the international praise and recognition needed to really catapult her acting career into the worldwide market. Her style sense was on the same track, with the perfect balance of sleek and sexy.

Unfortunately, having signed on as a brand ambassador with Chanel in 2018 (worn here), her ability to play outside of the proper uptown-styling of the design house had her somewhat limited in her options. This seemingly-rigid partnership eventually caused fans to speculate as to whether some of her red carpet choices were really reflecting her own tastes — or just catering to her role as brand ambassador.

Understanding the assignment has never been an issue for Robbie, who showed up the the 2022 premiere for Babylon in a gown that screamed of outrageousness and excess, core themes of the classic Hollywood-set film.
