Hot girl summer has all of us looking and feeling our best, so it’s really not a huge surprise that, of all the months in the year, it turns out people get it on the most in July.
Online adult store Lovehoney conducted a survey asking 2,000 participants the times of year when they had the most sex, and found that, on average, people got down in the bedroom about four times per week in July. Twenty-two per cent of people reported that they found July to be the sexiest month because they felt relaxed due to the summer holidays.

With July being the most hot and heavy followed by second-place August, on the flip side, they also found that November and January are the months when people have the least sex due to the colder temperatures.
A Lovehoney spokesperson told Metro.co.uk that sexual activity tends to soar in the hot summer months “because we tend to feel happier and more optimistic when the weather is good and the nights are long.”
The survey also found two thirds of couples say they have more sex when they’re on holiday, and 26 per cent of respondents noted that they were hornier when on vacay because they had more free time. Maybe take some time to create romance under the stars in a national park, or head out on a road trip with your significant other to have some fun in a new city so you can really bring the heat this month.
