We caught up with celeb stylist Tiffany Briseno to talk favourite fall 2020 fashion trends and how to do them right.
Her key takeaway? “A great way to embrace a trend into your everyday wardrobe is through accessories. Taking your existing pieces and giving them a refresh with footwear, jewellery and even head pieces like hats and scarves. This will give you instant style. Personally my go-to is footwear. There is something about putting on a new pair of shoes with a vintage pair of jeans that makes you feel amazing.”
Here then, is what you’ll want to fold into your regular routine as the cooler months set in.

Gold everything
"One of the top trends at the moment is anything and everything that's gold. For example, check out Zendaya rocking this trend in this beautiful gold trench."
Tip: Zendaya isn't afraid to go flashy with this. Note the gold purse and the sandals are gold too.

Grey is the new black
"This season grey is the new black. If there is a celeb that does one head-to-toe colour and owns it, it’s Cardi B. She's even got the silvery locks to compliment her tonal palette."
Tip: Like the all gold trend, don't be afraid to stick to one shade, top to bottom.

Small purses
"I am a huge fan of the small purse trend. As a stylist, I am always carrying a ton of bags so having a small purse is my kind of accessory. Here is Bella Hadid embracing the easy to wear trend in her 'model off duty' look."
Tip: Less is more. Pack only the essentials, and you're good-to-go.

The ‘70s are back (again)
"One of my favourite decades in fashion is the 1970’s. It’s a very big trend this season and going into the holidays. You see the elements of this era in fabrics, silhouettes and accessories. I've seen JLo embrace this trend before and she still wears it like the disco queen that she is."
Tip: Look for flares in your bottoms, and build from there. Yes, this one's making a comeback in a big way.
