Cozy sweaters. Leather leggings. Chunky ankle boots. What do they have in common? They are all perfect go-to items for the fall season. I love styling for autumn because of the numerous possibilities — but with so many trends floating around, it can get overwhelming when it comes to deciding what to wear. That’s why uniform dressing, capsule wardrobes and editing down your closet is so helpful. Here are five of my tried-and-true outfits that will automatically make you look more put together this season!
Flared jeans and boots for fall
Flared jeans are the classic go-to for any model-off-duty look. They are so easy to find. My fav ones right now are these lovely pair of Frame denim that I scored for a third of the price. Team it up with a soft knitted crew neck and a leather bootie, to create an easy look that will take you from class to coffee with the girls.

Turtleneck and mini skirts are must-haves for fall
A black fitted turtleneck will be the most versatile piece in your closet this fall. They look fantastic with everything. I love wearing mine with textured mini skirts and tights.
Pro-tip: To take it to the next level, add a western-style boot for some extra flare.
Relax your fall style with knitted joggers
Knitted joggers are the elevated sweatpant. They’re cozy, comfy, but stylish at the same time. Athleisure pieces are great investments that transition easily from season to season. Hailey Bieber is always my inspo for lazy day looks.
Keep your fall look neutral
When you’re not sure what to wear, stick to a monochromatic look. One my favourite go to’s is pairing winter whites together. A chunky sweater and a wide leg pant is the perfect balance between comfortable and chic. If all white looks are not your thing, it’s easy to do this with any neutral colour. Khaki’s, nudes, brown and blacks are great options as well.

Blazers and hoodies are fall classics
This combination is something that I’ve rocked since high school — for good reason. It’s a classic combo that makes a blazer look a lot less serious, and much more casual. I love pairing it up with a simple pair of black jeans and classic vans.

With these five fashion formulas, we quickly solve the problem of having nothing to wear! Having easy style ideas like these makes it much easier to get ready and head out the door. Do you have a classic fashion go-to? Show me by tagging me on insta, @rachspeed!
