In the bizarre time-warp that is 2021, we once again find ourselves on the blurred line of nostalgia and present day. This time, we’re left asking: are Bennifer officially a thing again, 17 years later?
This whiplash question follows reports that Ben Affleck has been spotted hanging out with former fiancée Jennifer Lopez. The duo, both newly single, may be linking back up – at least according to Page Six.

The outlet cited a source saying, “Security picks [Affleck] up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.” There are also pics of Affleck exiting a car that reportedly belongs to the powerhouse performer, dropping him off at a Los Angeles hotel.
Both are newly single and could simply just be spending time together; JLo split from A-Rod following rumours that the famed baseball player was sliding into the DMs of Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy. Affleck, on the other hand, recently broke up with former co-star Ana de Armas, who reportedly ended things.

Bennifer split in 2004, making them one pair whose engagement never made it to the alter, but the two are also said to have remained friends.
Affleck recently spoke of Lopez in InStyle, saying his Gigli co-star is, “the hardest-working person I’ve come across in the business.” He also quipped, “Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003 and it kind of looks like I’m in my 40s… at best?”
It’s clear he’s taking note of the ageless star, but then again, who isn’t?
