The BeyHive has assembled. Fans are swarming Airbnb to secure a place to stay for Beyoncé’s highly anticipated Toronto stop on one of the hottest music events of the year: the Renaissance world tour.

According to data from Airbnb, in the week following Beyoncé’s tour announcement on February 1, searches on Airbnb in Toronto jumped by an estimated 280 per cent compared to the week prior. Plus, searches for all of the cities where the tour is stopping jumped by approximately 120 per cent compared to the previous week.

This should come as no surprise, considering fans have been waiting a whopping six years for Beyoncé to embark on another tour. With all of the buzz around Renaissance, fans are willing to travel to secure tickets to one of Beyoncé’s 40 stops on tour.

A Toronto Airbnb listing fit for royalty

Alongside the stats, Airbnb shared a standout Toronto listing fit for a queen, king or alien superstar. If you’re looking to really live it up at Beyoncé’s Toronto show, check out Toronto’s Grand Historic Home, which features 7 beds and 3 bathrooms, with the ability to host 12 guests. The historical Baraset House, located in Wychwood, is a midtown mansion that’s sure to wow your friends.

But, as Bey fans know, pretty hurts, so this listing does come with a pretty hefty price tag – a $1,500 CAD per night one to be exact. Who knows, with the spike in Toronto Airbnb searches around July 9, 2023, maybe it’s not so bad.
