If there’s one thing Wendy Williams is going to do, it’s tell you what she really thinks. The unfiltered TV host recently interviewed The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, but instead of the usual compliments and laughs familiar to daytime segments, Wendy went straight for the jugular. She told the longtime Atlanta Housewife that it’s time for her to let go of her peach.

That’s not a thought any RHOA Housewife wants broadcast on national television, especially because there are already rumours of a cast shakeup coming, similar to the one that rocked The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“There’s a rumour that someone’s going to get fired,” Wendy started. “I think it should be you.”
Fans of The Wendy Williams Show know that she religiously watches The Real Housewives franchises and often reports on cast gossip. Of course, she had a well thought-out reason to go along with her opinion. “There’s nothing more exciting that you can give to us. I don’t want to see you fight. I don’t want to see you get divorced. I think it’s time,” she elaborated.
It wouldn’t be Wendy if she didn’t throw in a little shade at the end. “The only thing is — what will you do for a paycheque?”

Should Cynthia be worried? Maybe, maybe not. Teddi Mellencamp was famously fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for being too boring (according to fan theories). It’s true that Cynthia has seemingly overcome every challenge in her life from her rocky marriage to Peter to her falling out with NeNe Leakes. She’s in a good place, and it’s easy for her to fall into the ‘boring’ category now that she has it all together.
Andy Cohen’s recent interview on Heather Dubrow’s podcast may hint that Cynthia’s steady life might be OK for reality TV. In the interview, he revealed why Braunwyn Windham-Burke was fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County, saying that she wasn’t in the ‘healthiest spot’ to be on the show. “I think she was dealing with some real stuff with herself, with her marriage, with her children. It was a lot,” he commented.
Though there are various reasons for firing Housewives, by that logic, Cynthia should be in the clear. Bravo’s reasoning for letting go of Braunwyn shows that a cast member who has too much drama in their life can actually work against them. More and more, we’re seeing cast members having to navigate a fine line between causing drama (that can sometimes get them fired) and keeping audiences interested by not being boring.
The best strategy is for Cynthia to be somewhere in the middle. Now, we don’t recommend she goes stealing her castmate’s husband like Porsha did, but one thing is for sure — she needs a storyline ASAP.
