What’s Heather Thomson from RHONY been up to?

Before shapewear was everywhere, Heather was a pioneer in the market with Yummie Tummie. But she has since stepped down at Yummie after some major dramz and litigation with the company’s manager, Eric Rothfeld.

On a recent episode of the podcast Andy’s Girls, Heather explained, “I was stunted in where I wanted to go with Yummie because I had a partner in the business and he and I just don’t see eye to eye. I decided I had done that and it was time for me to move on…sometimes you do need to close a door to open another one.”

Now that she’s done with Yummie, Heather’s moved on to her next endeavour. Around the end of her Housewives tenure, Heather got a degree in nutrition and now she’s putting it to good use with a new food brand called Nutritionary.

“I’ve been on the health journey for many years now, having studied almost every diet theory after having my children,” Heather explained in a press release announcing the new brand. “I was frustrated with not getting what I needed out of them, which is why I went to nutrition school and later created Nutritionary. Diet theories are just that – theories. They don’t work for all lifestyles. With Nutritionary, it’s easy to make sustainable positive changes.”

Heather’s always been fit and outdoorsy, but she’s taken her love of the great outdoors to whole new heights since RHONY – literally! In spring 2018, she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Bethenny’s not the only charitable New York lady. Heather’s climb was in support of an orphanage in Kathmandu. During the trip she paid a visit to the orphanage and delivered wheelchairs, boots, shoes and water filters. They even set up a temporary medical clinic while they were there.

As we saw on RHONY, Heather ran the 2017 New York Marathon alongside her old Housewives buddy Carole Radziwill. Carole’s foray into fitness was unexpected, but Heather’s appearance at the event was no surprise – this wasn’t her first marathon. TBH, we’d be more surprised if Heather *didn’t* run the marathon.

If you follow Heather on Instagram like we do, you’ll see she’s always up in the gym, just working on her fitness (we’re her witness!).

While she’s no longer the head of an apparel company, Heather hasn’t left the fashion industry behind completely. She’s now a brand ambassador for a New Orleans-based performance wear brand called Tasc Performance.

Without filming on her plate, Heather’s had more time to spend with her little ones, Jax and Ella, who are growing up fast. Can you believe how big Jax is now?!

Heather may no longer be a New York Housewife, but she still hangs out with some of her old pals from the show. In February 2018, Heather attended the opening of NEO U Fitness in New York alongside most of the current cast. She also still hangs out regularly with Carole, who says she wants Heather back on the show.
