There’s nothing like springing into a new season with fresh products to help you look and feel great. We just tried L’Oreal Paris Canada products and found looks we like, comfort in application and so much more. From the Voluminous volume-building mascara to the Rouge Signature lightweight matte lipstick, we tested out new colours and vibes. Here’s what we discovered.

Dragana owns her worth with this new shade of red lipstick

I tried the Matte Liquid Lipstick in “I Empower” (the nude) and “I’m Worth It” (the bright red). I typically shy away from bold lip colours because my lipsticks tend to bleed, especially if I’m not wearing a lip liner. However, I love a good red lip and have to say I was pretty happy with L’Oreal’s option because it stayed in place once it dried, and didn’t rub off the way normal lipstick does. I also loved the applicator shape because it allowed me to apply it pretty seamlessly, even without a big mirror.

Overall, this is a great option for those looking to still rock a lipstick even as they mask up.

The L’Oreal Rouge Signature Liquid Lip Colour is one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried quite a few!). The thin formula glides on well and dries down so comfortably that you’ll forget you’re wearing it. No cracked or chalky feeling here, even after hours of wear – just lightweight long-wearing colour!

Madison is bringing back her makeup routine — starting with a go-to mascara

If I had to pick my go-to makeup product it would have to be a good mascara — and an eyelash curler – but that’s technically a tool, right? Mascara instantly makes you look more awake, draws attention to your eyes (which everyone knows are the windows to your soul, duh) and is almost fool proof to apply. I’ve always been wooed by expensive makeup products, spending anywhere between $30 to $50 on luxe mascaras, but after trying out L’Oreal Paris Canada’s Voluminous Mascara, I can honestly say I may never go back to my old ways again.

I naturally have super dark eyelashes but I found the Voluminous Mascara in the ‘Blackest Black’ still made my lashes pop. My favourite thing about this mascara is that there were no clumps whatsoever and my lashes looked noticeably longer. Don’t be a fool like me and assume that just because a product is more expensive, it’s automatically superior. Do your research and find the products that work for you. You might surprise yourself at how affordable your makeup routine can be!

Tracey refreshes her beauty routine with fresh lip colours

Spring is a time to refresh every part of my life, and that includes my look. I like to play with colour and get as close to a ‘fresh face’ as possible. Two L’Oreal products stood out to me to help me do just that – the L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick and the classic L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara. The liquid lipstick I chose was called ‘I Rule’ – it’s a cheerful, bright pink that gives me that soft, femme look I go for around this time of year. The lipstick glides on like a gloss and slowly dries into a matte texture, perfect for a smudge-free mask. The Voluminous mascara is my all-time favourite drugstore mascara – seriously, it’s been a staple in my makeup bag for years. It opens my eyes right up with the length and thickness I need on a daily basis (though in this photo, I’m wearing falsies on top!)
