Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve seen the viral snap of Brad and Jen backstage at the SAG Awards: They were beaming, they were hugging, their hands were touching. But were they back together? The internet sure wanted them to be. I, on the other hand, was in the minority, trying to send out major “don’t do it, girl!” vibes to Jen. Here’s the thing: I’m actually a Brad Pitt fan – and I have been for more than 20 years, ever since my 11-year-old self first caught a glimpse of him on TV in “A River Runs Through It” (yes, the movie about FLY FISHING). He was — and, admittedly, still is — my #1 Hollywood crush (I know, I know). That being said, I also grew up an avid fan of “Friends”, especially Rachel Green… I mean Jennifer Aniston. She was hilarious, independent and beautiful, and while Jen’s career path since the top-rated sitcom went off the air has been hit-and-miss, I’ve always admired her ability to forge her own path — especially in the face of a highly-publicized divorce. And that awful, nasty split is the exact reason why I’m rooting for Jen to NOT get back together with the man who up and abandoned her for another woman. Sound harsh? Maybe. But there are plenty of us who hope Jen never, ever goes back to Brad. And here is why.
