Swifities must’ve been on the “Nice” list this year because they’re getting an early holiday gift — a new album from Taylor Swift that drops at midnight (eastern time). This is the second surprise from the singer-songwriter within a week span after she dropped a teaser to her re-recorded track “Love Story” in the latest Match.com ad.

Swift shared the news on her social media this morning, including a full track list, for the new album titled evermore. This is the second album release in a year for Swift and serves as a sister record to folklore, which was also a surprise to fans when she released it back in July.
Swift explained on Instagram, “To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music.”
Similarly to folklore, she revealed that she collaborated on songs with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, Justin Vernon, and… WB. Swifties will know that WB stands for William Bowery and for the longest time, fans speculated that Bowery was actually a pseudonym for Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. During her recently released Disney+ folklore concert special, the singer confirmed that Bowery is, indeed, Alwyn. The couple co-wrote two tracks on folklore — “exile” and “betty”. Fans will undoubtedly be itching to see which songs the two of them collaborated on this time around.
