‘Summer House’ Heads to Martha’s Vineyard in Trailer for New Spinoff

The Summer House is getting bigger, as a trailer for the new spinoff in Martha’s Vineyard is here.

This time around, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard will take place at the vacation hotspot in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It’ll follow an all-Black cast made up of 12 young professionals and entrepreneurs on their summer vacation.

According to a press release, Martha’s Vineyard “was one of the first beach destinations where African Americans could vacation and purchase property” and, as People notes, it has a long history of Black vacationers for more than 100 years.

The trailer shows the cast members letting loose on their summer getaways. “I want to dance, I want to twerk, I want to drop it like it’s hot, I want to twerk, I want to have a drink, order a shot – rinse repeat,” one house guest says.

“You know what happens when you share a house,” one star tells a friend on FaceTime, “personalities blend or don’t.”

The guests have long been friends, which makes the drama and hookups between them even more dramatic.

Who will star in Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard?

These longtime friends and young entrepreneurs are none other than Jasmine Ellis Cooper, Silas Cooper, Amir Lancaster, Jordan Emmanuel, Preston Mitchum, Bria Fleming, Alex Tyree, Shanice Henderson, Jason Lyke, Summer Marie Thomas, Nicholas “Nick” Arrington and Mariah Torres.
