Get ready for Bravo’s new restaurant reality series, Southern Hospitality, which feels like the perfect crossover between Southern Charm and Vanderpump Rules. A new trailer is here, and it previews Leva Bonaparte taking the lead at one of her and her husband’s four restaurants: Republic Garden & Lounge.
“If you can make it past the velvet rope at my club, Republic,” Bonaparte teases, “It’ll be a night to remember.”
Taking on a role that rivals the likes of Lisa Vanderpump, Bonaparte takes charge and lays down the law with her staff. While the staff may love the party lifestyle of working at Charleston’s hottest club, Bonaparte does not mess around and won’t put up with their routine tardiness and messy drama.
Despite running a tight ship, Bonaparte also treats her staff like she’d treat a family member, helping them work through personal struggles.
“We all grew up here,” a staff member explains, showcasing the intricate bonds between castmates.
Based on the clip, it looks like Southern Hospitality will revolve around all of the makeups and breakups among the Republic Garden & Lounge staff. The cast already have long-standing relationships, as the trailer teases the innerworkings of a tightknit group.
Bonaparte expects only the best at the Republic, so staff members (and best friends) are forced to compete with each other for coveted positions and hefty tips.
Despite being driven, the staff members all seem to be full of excuses. In fact, the trailer previews one shocking and lengthy speech from one of the Republic’s staff after Bonaparte accuses her of being late.
“My allergies have been on one, Scorpio full moon, lunar eclipse, Friday the 13th, I had a wardrobe malfunction…it’s a lot,” she rattles off.
With fireworks, fights and feisty friends, get ready for an explosive new series with Southern Hospitality.
