No one knows how to throw a lavish party like one of the Housewives… and what’s a bigger party than a wedding? From extravagant dresses to ridiculous cakes, here are some of the most expensive, big-ticket items our Real Housewives have dropped serious coin on over the years—just in time for wedding season.

10. Denise Richards booked a $20,000 venue
New RHOBH cast member Denise Richards may be making a splash with her co-stars, but when it came to her wedding to Aaron Phypers she was a little more reserved. She planned the whole thing in about 48 hours and only invited 40 people, but the rental fee at Cypress Sea Cove in Malibu, where they got hitched, is about $20,000 alone. Not-so-reserved? That romper dress she wore, which many fans have since criticized for being too short.

9. Tamra and Eddie’s $23,000 engagement trip
Getting the proposal right is the first step to a successful wedding, but we’d say Eddie Judge nailed it when he popped the question to Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney in Bora Bora in 2013. Yes, the couple’s eventual wedding was beautiful and extravagant and cost thousands of dollars, but that engagement trip alone was estimated to have cost $23,000. Not. Too. Shabby.

8. Kandi Burruss’ fairytale $20,000 wedding dress
When Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss walked down the aisle in front of 300 of her closest friends and family members for her wedding to Todd Tucker in the spring of 2014, she did so in a custom $20,000 dress from Reco Chappele. The fit-and-flare style was certainly impressive, but what really caught our eye was the 12-foot train, which was made of ostrich feathers. Sadly, that detailing hid her $1195 crystal-studded stilettos from Christian Louboutin.

7. Kim Zolciak’s $58,000 wedding dress
Ah, remember the days when Kim and NeNe used to be “besties?” Given that relationship, it’s no wonder they picked similar wedding dresses. When Kim tied the knot with NFL player Kroy Biermann in 2011, her handmade Baracci dress was estimated to cost about $58,000.

6. Bethenny Frankel’s $200,000 televised nuptials
In 2010 we were all obsessed with Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel and her fiancé Jason Hoppy, which is probably why Bravo is rumoured to have paid for their $200,000 gala. Considering they split a few short years later, we’d say they saved themselves quite a few bucks in the long run.

5. Eva Marcille’s $350,000 wedding bash
How much did Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva want to impress her guests during her 2018 wedding to Michael Sterling? Enough to shell out $1,000 per person, it seems. Sure, that cost encompassed everything from the booze and food, to music and décor, but with 239 overall guests and other costs, like the dress, hair and makeup to consider, the party ended up costing her more than $350,000.

4. Lisa Vanderpump pumps a rumoured $1 million into her daughter’s big day
They say it’s a mother’s dream to help their little girl plan a wedding, and RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump is no exception. Lisa wanted Pandora’s wedding to Jason Sabo to be intimate yet extravagant, which is oh-so-Beverly Hills. We’d say the air-conditioned tent, which was draped with crystals and roses, certainly delivered.

3. Joanna Krupa’s $1 million princess wedding
How much does it cost for a fairy tale to come true? Well if you’re Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa, a cool million ought to do it. That’s how much her wedding to Romain Zago cost in 2013. The ceremony was lavish to say the least, with the bride wearing a $30,000 Chagoury Couture gown and guests being treated to custom-made everything, including napkins.

2. NeNe Leakes ties the knot for a reported $1.8 million
The OG Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member made plenty of headlines when she re-married Gregg Leakes in 2013 and wore not one, but two wedding dresses. The first was a fit-to-flare strapless number by Baracci, the second was a chiffon gown from Pnina Tornai that was covered in Swarovski crystal and rumoured to be worth about $20,000.

1. LeeAnne Locken’s $4.5 million affair
The Real Housewives of Dallas star tied the knot with Rich Emberlin last April, and there were no expenses spared. Seriously, from the $25,000 custom-made dress and the 12-foot wedding cake to the vodka bar with customized drinks in disco-ball glasses, it seems like LeeAnne paid attention to every last and over-the-top, expensive detail.
