All of Denise Richards' Famous Exes
We’d like to think we’ve become fairly intimate with Denise Richards over the years, from her stint as a Bond girl and a headline-making actress to her time as a fashion model and now as the latest cast member of RHOBH, where she’s joined the ladies for one of the most dra-mah-tic seasons yet.
Of course at this point, Denise is probably quite used to cameras capturing all of the salacious moments in her life. For years she and her high-profile relationships have filled the pages of tabloids, something that’s continued recently with her marriage to Aaron Phypers. Here we’ve rounded up all the famous men the newest cast member has been linked to over the years.
We barely had time to register that Denise was engaged before she tied the knot with Nicollette Sheridan’s ex last fall. That’s because the couple announced their plans to marry in September, and then got hitched two short days later.
Now there are two Housewives on the show who are married to Sheridan’s exes: Lisa Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin was also married to her for a year in the early 1990s.

The former actor has publicly said he and Denise hooked up when she was much younger and starting out in the business, and even told Howard Stern that Liza Minnelli was better in bed than she was. (Oh Chachi… how could you?) In her own radio interview with Stern later on, Denise denied that anything — not even a little touching — ever happened between them.
Back in the nineties Paul Walker and Denise co-starred in the strange movie Tammy and the T-Rex, in which a scientist implants the brain of a teen’s deceased boyfriend into… a t-rex. (We have so many follow-ups.) Anyhow, onscreen the couple’s chemistry sparked plenty of offscreen rumours, but that’s all they were—rumours.
In 1998 Patrick Muldoon—of Starship Troopers fame—and Denise had a short-lived romance that was captured in full by paparazzi when they attended the premiere of Eyes Wide Shut. The relationship didn’t last and they parted ways until 2012, when they gave things one more shot. Ultimately it just wasn’t meant to be and that time when they called it quits, it was for good.

Also in 1998 when the thriller Wild Things was released, the rumour mill was buzzing that Denise and co-star Matt Dillon were romantically linked in real life as well. Once again it proved untrue, but all of these dating rumours following onscreen romps certainly make you appreciate Denise’s acting abilities, don’t they?
Of all Denise’s former relationships, her marriage to Charlie Sheen is the most famous… and the most tumultuous. The couple were married from 2002 to 2005, during which time they had two daughters and some pretty public battles. Things got nasty and updates on the split created lots of tabloid fodder, but these days the exes finally seem to be in a better place. Charlie appears to have gotten his addiction under control, and Denise reportedly invited her ex to her wedding with Aaron. Charlie didn’t attend, but he also made a point to wish her all the happiness in her new life.

Dean CainRichards was linked to Dean Cain in 2007 after the two filmed the romantic comedy I Do (But I Don’t). They were seen on dates during and after shooting the made-for-tv movie, but neither of them ever confirmed that they were romantically involved. Cain could be considered a rebound from her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, because he was the first person she was seen dating after the divorce. Their flame quickly flickered out, but at least it helped Denise to “get back out there” after her volatile marriage.
Uncle Jesse and Denise Richards? Have mercy! It’s true, the pair reportedly dated when she was much younger (in her teens), and then again a few years back following Denise’s separation from Charlie Sheen. In the end John Stamos revealed he couldn’t quite deal with the complications that came with Denise’s ex and children, but the pair remain friendly.
Mario LopezOne of Richards’ lesser known exes, Mario Lopez, caught her eye on set of the 90’s sitcom Saved By The Bell in 1991. Lopez played her love interest, and it seemed they continued their romance even after the cameras stopped rolling. In 2015, Lopez playfully interviewed Richards on Extra TV about the rumour that she would join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, indicating the two are on good terms. In that interview, she denied the rumours, referring to the show as “garbage.” Clearly, she changed her mind about that.
