Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley: as real as it gets
My hands-down favourites are Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley from The Real Housewives of New York. I met them when they were in Toronto for a publicity tour. They let me take selfies, they liked my Instagram post, and they talked about what they did the night before. They were actually "real." Show them some love, people! - Frank P., Producer, HGTV Canada

Gizelle Bryant: zero fashion sense, but loveable
I can't get enough of The Real Housewives of Potomac lately. Not only is the new season giving me the drama I live for, but I also went back and started from season one to watch it all from the messy beginning. It really is the most underrated, and if you haven't gotten into it, you're missing out! Okay, that pitch aside, my queen bee of RHOP is Gizelle Bryant. She's doesn't mince words and is not above being totally petty in the most entertaining way. She's also one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, but as The Grand Dame Karen Huger said, she has absolutely zero fashion sense. It's all so lovable and I always want her on my screen forever (but get rid of Jamal please). - Lydia H., Producer, Food Network Canada

Erika Girardi: all-around goals
Erika Girardi's confidence is GOALS. Everything from her killer style to her "I-can-acheive-anything" attitude is what I aspire to. When it comes to haters, she's unapologetic and truly doesn't care about anyone's negative opinion of her. I also think it's amazing that she spends $40K a month on glam and clothes. Like I said — goals. - Tracey M., Producer, Slice

Bethenny Frankel: A self-made boss
This is a hard one because I have so many favourites. Bethenny Frankel was my all time fave! She was self-made, confident and a real boss! But she also had a sweet, emo side that made her super relatable. Now that she's out of the picture, I'd have to say my favourite housewife is Erika Jayne. She gives zero f*cks, grinds for what she wants, and her confidence is next level. - Madison G., Social Strategist, Slice

Teddi Mellencamp: anything but boring
Teddi Mellencamp — hands down. I know she's getting flak for being boring, but her no-nonsense, down-to-earth straightforwardness is refreshing in the Real Housewives universe. Sometimes you need to hear it how it is. - Dragana K., Assistant Editor, Slice

Sonja Morgan: witty and eccentric
My favourite Real Housewife is hands down Ms. Sonja Tremont Morgan. Her humour and quick wit, loveable eccentricity, eternal optimism and the ability to poke fun at herself — there’s truly nothing grey about her gardens! - Devon C., Associate Publicist

Shannon Beador: the original Karen
I love to hate Shannon Beador. She is the original Karen. Genuinely though, Erika Girardi, obviously. She's the Cardi B of the Housewives. - Alexa K., Manager, Social Women & Lifestyle

Lisa Vanderpump: exactly the same in person
LVP, always. Everything from her gorgeous home filled with miniature ponies and puppies to her dry British wit is captivating. When I met her at SUR last year, she was exactly how I imagined she would be — smelling of expensive rosé and superiority, and ordering Jax Taylor to spit out his gum. - Sunita H., Community Manager, Slice

Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman: besties for life
Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman are my favourite because of their BFF status on and off the screen. They are the kind of besties that never get sick of each other, tell one another everything, and are always there for a laugh or a cry. My heart could barely handle their (since-resolved!) falling out. Back and stronger than ever, they never shy away from being their true, authentic selves and being there for each other through it all. Stephanie even helped Brandi adopt her youngest, Bruin! Aside from their strong support system, they're the real comic relief on Dallas. I think hanging out with them would be full of sh*ts and giggles. Bring on the Jesus juice! - Rebecca B., Digital Lifestyle Manager

Bethenny Frankel: no one’s on her level
The OG of Housewives —Bethenny Frankel — simply can't be beat. Her incredible arc from single charity case in the first few seasons, to her blow-up with Jill, to her return as an uber wealthy booze mogul that the other ladies were jealous of, to philanthropic do-gooder in her final season — will never be replicated. On top of that, she's always been willing to show the bad with the good. She will MENTION IT ALL and has no problem taking on and taking down the RHONY villain that is Ramona. But now that's she's tragically left the show for good, the only other housewife who is even close to being on her level is the one and only Erika Jayne. She's tough as nails on the outside to hide the fact that she's a softie on the inside. It would be so easy to write her and Tom off as a classic older man/younger woman finance-based relationship, but they're so much more than that. They genuinely love and support each other in a way we don't often see on the Housewives. Add to that that Erika brings a level fashion that is unrivaled on RHOBH. No matter how many bobby pins Dorit puts in her hair, she doesn't pull ANY punches about how expensive it is to be her and the work that goes into maintaining her image and music career. She gives zero f*cks and I LOVE it! - Vicky S., Associate Producer, National Morning
