This season, the agents take on an uncertain NYC market as the city grapples with the COVID-19 crisis. They’ll have to work together as listing prices plummet and people leave for more scenic locations.
Here’s what to expect in season 9 of Million Dollar Listing New York
New to the cast is Kirsten Jordan, a boss in her own right with a half a billion dollar portfolio in luxury properties. Drawing from her background as an athlete, Kirsten plays the real estate game like a sport. She’ll have a competitive edge being married to a respected Italian developer and being fluent in the language.
Ryan is fresh off a big win. He’s celebrating the opening of his own brokerage, seeing the market as opportunistic and taking the chance to build new relationships with developers. At home, he’s making time for his wife and daughter Zena while organizing the finishing touches on their dream home in Brooklyn.
Fredrik takes on the challenge of bi-coastal life and will have to get creative to keep up with his New York listings with the stay-at-home orders in place. However, developers will question his understanding of the market as he struggles to set records with these new lower-priced listings.
Steve has family on his mind as he deals with the pandemic head-on with his daughter and girlfriend. He’s renovating a new penthouse that will serve as their family home while taking on listings from Upstate where business is on the upswing. He’ll get some help from his old friend Dorinda Medley.
Tyler’s growing in the real estate game, resolved to make a name for himself. We’ll see a more confident agent as he develops a solid professional relationship with Ryan and battles it out with his fellow agents.
