The Celebs Who Rely on the Million Dollar Listing Agents

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is among Josh Flagg’s list of A-list clients. In 2012, Josh sold Levine a ranch-style home with six bedrooms in Beverly Hills at a price tag of $4.83 million.

Another client of Flagg’s from the music world – DJ and Dim Mak label founder, Steve Aoki. In 2014, Flagg helped Aoki list his very contemporary home in the Hollywood Hills for $1.199 million.

BCBG designer Max Azria was previously a client of Josh’s, but when he listed his Holmby Hills estate for $85 million last year, he used another agent – none other than RHOBH Housewife Kyle Richards’s husband, Mauricio Umansky.

Josh has a long relationship with Kim Kardashian, having helped the star find her first condo, before Keeping Up With the Kardashians was even on the air. More recently, he was the agent behind the sale of her $17.8 Million Bel Air Mansion. He’s also made friends with other members of the greater Kardashian clan – when Scott Disick first broke things off with Kourtney Kardashian, he went house shopping with Josh.

When Miley Cyrus goes house hunting, she's been known to shop with Josh. In 2015, he helped Miley purchase an equestrian and vineyard estate in Hidden Hills for $5 million, which she later sold in 2018.

In 2015, Reba quietly sold her Beverly Hills mansion using Josh as her broker. The 13,000-square foot home went for $22.5 million – more than double the $9 million she paid for it back in 2003.

Rapper Tyga often turns to MDLLA’s British duo James and David for his real estate needs. He even appeared on the show, but afterwards none other than James Corden tried to steal James and David's gig.

While Kim Kardashian West works with Josh Altman, her ex-husband Kris tapped James and David when he went house hunting in 2015. The home? A $6.2 million dollar gated mansion in Beverly Hills with a view of the city. He loved the purchase – James said he was a great client – and it turned out to be a great investment, too. In 2018 he sold the home for $2 million more than his original purchasing price.

SJP's Greenwich Village townhouse sat on the market for nearly three years before she switched brokers and hired Fredrik. He sold the house for a cool $19.95 million in 2015.

Before they teamed up as partners – and costars on Bethenny and Fredrik – Bethenny was one of Fredrik's clients. Over the years, Fredrik has appeared on camera with Bethenny several times, both on RHONY and Bethenny’s spinoffs. He even helped her find, then later sell, her post-divorce home.

Another A-Lister on Fredrik’s client list: JLO. In 2014, Fredrik helped her secure a $22 million penthouse in Manhattan. It wasn't all business, though. In what turned out to be a very healing moment, Jennifer complimented Fredrik's on his blue eyes, which bullies called "girly" when he was a kid. Fredrik later posted online about how the interaction helped him overcome negative feelings he'd been hanging on to.

Is Leo a MDLNY superfan? The superstar has tapped both Luis and Ryan for his real estate needs. Or perhaps he just loves seeing as many incredible homes as possible – who wouldn't? "Leonardo DiCaprio looks at everything — everything," Ryan said during an interview with Sirius XM's Conversations with Maria. "I've shown him so many apartments."

In her hunt for a luxe New York City home, Rebel Wilson turned to Fredrik. Though she asked him to ditch the cameras so she could house hunt in sweats, she did appear on MDLNY. As for the home she ultimately ended up with? A $2.5 million dollar Greenwhich apartment in a building where he neighbours include Jake Gyllenhaal, Meg Ryan, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lawrence and Blake Lively (!!!)

When Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. the rapper 50 Cent, wanted to sell his 52 bedroom, 50,000 square foot mansion, he tapped Fredrik. But as we saw on MDLNY, the $4.2 million dollar offer Fredrik returned with wasn't exactly what 50 had in mind – he bought the home way back in 2003 for just a sliver less, $4.1 million.

Even James Bond himself has done business with Fredrik. The MDLNY agent once staged a Tribeca penthouse 007-style, complete with fur throws, mirrors and gold details. And, to his surprise, Daniel Craig walked in for a viewing. Fredrik must have got the inspo right, because the actor purchased the home.
