If you’ve been wondering when Meghan Markle’s podcast is coming out, we now have an answer! The podcast, first announced in December 2020, now has a release date set for this summer 2022.
The Suits alum, 40, and husband Prince Harry, 37, announced their intent to create content for the audio streaming platform with their own production company, Archewell Audio, in a reported $25 million deal.

The podcast has been highly anticipated project from the pair, who stepped away from their royal roles in 2021. It appears that the delay to Markle and the Duke of Sussex’s podcast may be due to their concerns over the spread of misinformation on the platform, which they vowed to combat this past January.
Their concerns followed boycotts of the streamer by Neil Young and other musicians.

A spokesperson for Archewell Audio told Page Six that they are encouraged by the conversations taking place with senior leadership, and that the company is working towards “policies, practices and strategies meant to raise creator awareness, minimize the spread of misinformation and support transparency.”
So far, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have one podcast episode out, which debuted at the same time as their announcement back in December 29, 2020. That episode featured celebs such as Elton John, Stacey Abrams and James Corden all reflecting on the pandemic year that was, with one very special guest appearance by the couple’s 2-year old son Archie.
The pair also penned a Netflix deal in 2020 with the aim to develop documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming, with a focus on family-friendly content.
