Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be appearing in Kim KardashianHollywood anytime soon.

Kim Kardashian is in hot water over her mobile game’s connection to the famous royals. The reality star, 40, has ditched a new level titled ‘Royal Runaways’ in her popular smartphone game. The game featured a character called Princess Bianca and her red-headed husband Prince Aston, who bear a striking resemblance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. If that wasn’t enough, the characters discussed quitting royal life and gave an interview about the royal family being unwelcoming to the princess.

Given that the Duke and Duchess’ tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey revealed extremely similar tensions, fans immediately sounded alarm bells on the game. Several players pointed out that it appeared Kardashian was trying to profit from the couple’s exit from royal life, which resulted from a lack of support for Markle’s mental health and the racism she endured, among other things.

Within the level, the characters participate in an interview in which Bianca says: “Prince Aston has done everything in his power to welcome me into the Royal Family. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about everyone in his family,” echoing similar statements that Markle gave during the Oprah interview.

The makers of the game, Glu Mobile, responded to the criticism and quickly confirmed they’d removed the section. “We heard a lot of valuable feedback around our recent Prince Aston and Princess Bianca quest,” a spokesperson told DailyMail.com. “It’s clear we missed the mark with this, and we sincerely apologize. We did not intend to direct any negativity towards any particular person or groups of people. The content is no longer live in the game.”

Kardashian, for her part, was unaware of the game’s new level and quickly took action to take it down as soon as she knew, according to DailyMail.com.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star launched her game back in 2014. Players can immerse themselves with Kardashian characters in the app to progress through different levels on a red carpet adventure.
