The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Jen Shah has a new gig lined up ahead of her fraud trial, and we can’t say we saw this coming. The reality TV star is set to host a party at the Larry Flynt strip club in NYC on Oct. 22, a few months before her trial date in March of next year.
Of course, legal fees aren’t cheap, so there’s no shame in the game. Celebrities often host club events for huge pay days, and this gig is no different. A rep for the venue said that Shah would be “receiving a large sum [of money] in exchange for her appearance, most likely enough to put a dent in her legal bills.”

The rep went on to say that Shah didn’t hesitate to take on the opportunity. “Shah was eager to host an event with us the moment we approached her team.” She’s reportedly being paid “tens of thousands” to attend, do meet-and-greets, sign autographs and appear onstage with adult film star Alexis Monroe, who will be celebrating a birthday that evening.
Shah was arrested on camera while filming season two of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She and her assistant Stuart Smith face wire fraud charges after having allegedly scammed elderly victims as part of a nation-wide telemarketing scheme. In April 2021, Shah plead not guilty to the charges and was released on $1 million bail.
