The Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow and her husband, Terry Dubrow, have sold their famous California mansion. According to Page Six, the 14-bedroom “Chateau Dubrow” sold for a whopping $55 million.
The extravagant Newport Beach estate – which features an ocean view and a 24-seat movie theater – was sold by listing agent and Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles star Josh Altman.
Altman reportedly revealed that the staggering 22,000-square-foot home marked Orange County’s largest sale of the year. Although it was not actually listed on the market, it was grabbed up by a mystery buyer.
“With two kids at college, we’ve been thinking about our next move,” Heather said to Entertainment Tonight. “We just bought a cool penthouse in LA and sometimes the universe shows you the right direction. Change is exciting!”
In fact, Heather and Terry have had another reality TV crossover during this big change, as the penthouse was sold to them by Heather Rae El Moussa from Selling Sunset. On Instagram, El Moussa said that the sale was her “biggest deal to date,” according to the Daily Mail.
The on-screen real estate agent also revealed that they had been searching properties for seven months before negotiating for four-and-a-half months.
The Cavalli Penthouse boasts two large bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, huge walk-in custom closets, a private sauna, private terraces and an office. The Dubrows weren’t willing to give up one part of “Chateau Dubrow” – the new penthouse still has a stunning ocean view of the Pacific Ocean.
