Hailey Bieber only launched her skincare line, Rhode, on June 15, but already the name of her brand has landed her in hot water. Bieber was sued for trademark infringement by RHODE, a clothing brand that shares the same name.

The co-founders of RHODE filed a lawsuit that alleges court intervention was necessary because “Hailey Bieber is a celebrity with over 45 million Instagram followers who launched her skincare line last week and has filed trademark applications to sell clothing,” according to The Globe and Mail. Bieber’s middle name is Rhode, which is why she made it the name of her brand.

The RHODE co-founders, Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers, filed the suit against Bieber, 25, on June 21, according to People. The lawsuit also states that their products have been featured in Vogue and carried in high-end stores like Saks Fifth Avenue. Celebrities such as Rihanna and Beyonce have also worn the clothes, and sales are projected to hit $14.5 million this year, the lawsuit said.

RHODE owns the trademark for several common clothing items and accessories, however, they’ve also stated that they may potentially expand to makeup and skincare.

Bieber has been busy promoting her line over the past week, including an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The line has several products including a face cream and a lip treatment.
