The Beyhive is buzzing today with the news that Queen Bey is finally releasing new music. And luckily for us, it’s set to drop soon. The Grammy winner’s seventh album, Renaissance, is set to arrive on July 29.

You might be thinking: wait! But Beyoncé released Black Is King in 2020! While that’s true, that visual album was a companion to the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift, which Beyoncé curated and created music for. However, it was not a solo project, as her last solo studio album was Lemonade.

And his description of the new album was so detailed, that it’s sure to send fans into a frenzy: “Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves. It’s music I love to my core. Music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.”

We can’t wait to see what stunning music videos and collabs will come out of Renaissance. If one thing’s for sure, we’re in for an elaborate treat.
