In the trailer, we get a glimpse into old behind-the-scenes footage and candid interviews with the cast. Plus, there’s a touching moment when the cast remembers James Avery, who played beloved Uncle Phil. He sadly passed away in 2013 at the age of 68.
The special will also explore the cultural impact the show has had since its premiere in the ’90s. Plus, Will Smith will have a candid conversation with the actress who originally played Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert-Whitten, who left the show after season 3. We can already tell that it’s going to be an emotional reunion.
Just remember, fans can rent the Bel-Air mansion. Let’s be honest, it’d be the perfect place to watch the reunion.
