Sex tech startup, Lora DiCarlo, has a new creative advisor and co-owner — and it’s none other than model / actress Cara Delevingne. The company, known for its innovative sex toys, made it Instagram official by changing their bio to include Delevingne’s account. The company, named after its founder and CEO, also shared a photo on the account of Cara with Lora DiCarlo herself.
The post caption reads, “Meet our new partner in pleasure, Cara!” It also includes a quote from Cara, “Lora DiCarlo’s vision represents so much of what I stand for — women led, femme focused, and pleasure inclusive. I am so excited to step into this role as company Co-owner and Creative Advisor, and contribute in a creative capacity with Lora and her team. Their award-winning products are redefining how people explore, experience, and take ownership of their pleasure.”
Delevingne’s motivation for joining the womxn-led company is to help destigmatize sexuality and encourage womxn to take care of their sexual health and wellness. In an interview, she revealed that growing up there was a lack of talk around sex education and wants to change that experience for young folx. In terms of her role within the company, she’ll be working alongside the founder to find gaps in the market and provide more inclusive products that embrace different anatomies.

The company’s website also shared the news on its homepage with a mission statement signed by both DiCarlo and Delevingne that says, “We believe that sexual self-discovery and education is a path toward empowerment. To boldly and unapologetically claim our pleasure, is our resistance in a world that seeks to tame us. The pleasure is yours. The pleasure is mine. The right to pleasure is all of ours.”
