It looks like pop icon Britney Spears, 40, and her fitness expert-turned-actor beau, Sam Asghari, 28, are getting closer to their wedding day, as Asghari hinted to the couple’s upcoming nuptials in an Instagram Story on Sunday.

“happy Mother’s Day to you my soon to be queen,” he wrote on the story showcasing Spears’s engagement ring from when they first got engaged, continuing, “Also The big day has been set!”

But before giving up any specifics, he added, “But nobody will know until the day after.”

The pair got engaged back in September 2021, and the wedding date may be coming up sooner rather than later. Spears herself has been hinting at the progress of her wedding dress, which is well underway and being designed by none other than long-time friend Donatella Versace.

And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress!!!” she deleted it and reposted it a day later with the caption: “Introducing Wendy !!! And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress.”
