Details around Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s love life have been swirling in the tabloids ever since she revealed she was a lesbian in December 2020. The questions around her love life, though, seem to revolve around the fact that she’s still married to her husband, Sean Windham-Burke.
Despite being married, Windham-Burke is continuing to explore her true sexual identity — now with fellow former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Fernanda Rocha who she’s currently dating.
“I’m dating Fernanda. The first time that we went from friends to maybe a little more — and, like, barely more — was in February,” Windham-Burke told US Weekly in an exclusive statement. Rocha’s marriage recently ended in January, but Braunwyn is adamant she had nothing to do with it. “We did not start dating until a month after she filed for divorce,” Windham-Burke clarified.

With news of Braunwyn’s happy dating life, one can only wonder if divorce is on the horizon for her. “We don’t have any plans to divorce, not to say we won’t ever get divorced. There’s no reason to right now. Neither one of us is in a relationship that is going to lead to marriage. So for now, we don’t have any plans,” Braunwyn told US Weekly. “It’s been about a year now. He hangs out with [Fernanda]. I mean, it’s better than that, you know?”
Even though she has come under fire from her castmates for her decision to stay married, Braunwyn seems to be in a good place. “We can both date other people. She just got out of a marriage. We’re both in our forties,” Windham-Burke said to US Weekly. “You know, we really love the time we spend together. She’s amazing. She’s an amazing person, but neither one of us is rushing into labels… We don’t need to label [the time] we spend together.”
Die-hard RHOC fans will remember Fernanda from season 6, which first aired in 2011. Braunwyn joined the show much later in season 14, but was recently fired.
