The next day, the Grammy Award-winning singer posted a short clip on her page showing her in bleach blonde tresses, setting Instagram ablaze; the post got over a million likes in under 6 minutes.

The 19-year old had alluded to an impending change back in December, dropping a clue with, “I’m changing it [my hair] after the doc comes out,” referring to the documentary The World’s a Little Blurry. The singer stated, “It will be the end of an era. I’m going to give you a new era.”
