Billie Eilish made a surprise announcement on Tuesday when she revealed her next album, Happier Than Ever, would come out this summer. The singer took to Instagram to happily show off the album’s artwork and announce that the record would drop July 30th.
“This is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. Hope you feel what I feel.” She followed the announcement by sharing the full 16-song track list on her Instagram story.

Earlier this week, the Grammy winner teased a 15-second snippet of a new song on social media, racking up more than seven million views on YouTube. Many people thought the teaser meant the “bad guy” singer was releasing a new single; however, the announcement of a brand new album immediately sparked excitement amongst fans.
Happier Than Ever will be Eilish’s follow up to her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? which was released back in 2019. The album received critical acclaim and earned several Grammy awards, making Eilish the first woman to win across the ceremony’s four major categories – Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist – all in the same year.
