Bethenny Frankel is dipping her toes back into the Housewives universe with a new podcast called ReWives, where she’ll revisit famous episodes of the reality television series. While this is a big move for the former Housewife, some other stars (like Luann de Lesseps and Carole Radziwill) aren’t too pleased about the announcement.
Three years after her departure from The Real Housewives of New York City, Frankel is ready to put “the real back in Real Housewives,” she says of the rewatch podcast, according to People.

Throughout the iHeartMedia-produced podcast – which premieres on November 14 – Frankel will rewatch beloved Housewives episodes like RHONY’s “Scary Island,” “Dinner Party from Hell” from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, “Who Gon’ Check Me Boo?” from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and more.
Frankel won’t be taking on this hearty task alone – throughout the season, she’ll be joined by (surprising) guests like Elisabeth Moss, Jerry Springer, Suze Orman, Maren Morris, TikTok star Griffin Johnson and more.
ReWives won’t just be about discussing the drama over again like most rewatch podcasts, Frankel explains.
“We don’t delve into that territory,” she said. “I wanted to do a rewatch podcast, but I didn’t want to do something derivative. I didn’t just want to rewatch a show, scene by scene. So I thought ‘How could I do this in an interesting way?’ – not just having another Housewife talk about it to me like others do, but instead delving deeper. So it’s really about the real dynamics that are going on underneath, which I find to me more interesting anyway, and not the low-hanging fruit trash that others take away from it.”

On an episode of Everything Iconic, Luann de Lesseps clapped back at Frankel’s announcement, saying that she’s spent most of her time away from RHONY “sh—ting on the show,” according to Page Six.
“Right, and if she s—ts on the show, that means she’s gonna s—t on us on her little podcast about the ‘Housewives,’” she asserted.
“It’s pretty sad and pathetic that she has to resort to ‘Housewives’ because of all of her failed pivots since the ‘Housewives,’” de Lesseps added.
And de Lesseps isn’t the only Housewife firing digs at Frankel — Carole Radziwill also slammed Frankel’s new podcast.
“Oh lordy…how original,” Radziwill tweeted of the podcast, according to Page Six.
“But she did build her brand by trashing & mocking women specifically the HWs & Betheny [sic] always returns to what she does best. I mean right out the gate she trash talks the other HW podcasts. Lol. Good luck to her. Somethings will never change.”
