Carrie Bradshaw might be in for a rough go in the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That… thanks to one familiar face. Natasha, played by Bridget Moynahan, has been spotted on set reprising her role as Mr. Big’s ex-wife and we can already taste the drama!
If you forgot, Natasha and Big got married in season two, and then Carrie proceeded to get ‘carried away’ when she and Big started an affair behind her back. (Justice for Natasha and Aidan!) To jog your memory, look no further than this infamously uncomfortable lunch scene in season three when Carrie apologizes for cheating:
We couldn’t help but wonder… will there be a blowout between the three characters? Photos and footage show Moynahan looking as chic as ever walking around SoHo, so it’s likely that viewers are in for some tension between Big, Carrie and Natasha again.
Natasha’s return has led many fans to question what this will mean for Carrie and Big’s marriage, with some speculating that Carrie will break down:
Okay that Sex and The City reboot just got me by bringing Natasha back in 💀 Big’s 2nd ex wife popping up as they hit 10+ years married will send Carrie into a spiral

Others have pointed out that Natasha could be used for some sort of girl-power push to benefit Carrie:
They’re going to do some weird thing where Carrie and Natasha are friends now and all is forgiven in the name of women solidarity to clean up Carrie’s image. You heard it here first. #satc https://t.co/XNHex1LKVY

Regardless of why Natasha is back, we’re just happy to see another familiar face from the original series — especially since we know Kim Cattrall won’t be returning as Samantha. Aside from Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Chris Noth and Moynahan, HBO Max has confirmed that Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch), Mario Cantone (Anthony Marantino), David Eigenberg (Steve Brady) and Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt) will all also return.
And Just Like That… started filming earlier this month, and while a release date for the series is still TBD, we have already seen a few snaps from Sarah Jessica Parker that have us beyond excited. The wait continues!
